The iSunn Tanning Salon team in Portishead have put together some top tips to help you prepare for your Spray Tan and maximise your tan. If you have any additional questions, drop the iSunn Tanning Salon team a message.
Before Your Session
Exfoliate the night before your Spray Tan. This will make your tan last longer by revealing new skin.
You should also wax or shave at least 24 hours before treatment, and not on the day of your session. This allows the pores to close.
Do wear loose, dark clothing. Some of the guide colour can be easily removed by tight-fitting clothing so it is best to keep clothing loose (the colour guide will wash out of fabrics, but it can stain some nylon and lycra). You should also wear loose-fitting shoes.
Do not wear contact lenses during your session.
Do not use any tanning products if pregnant or breast-feeding, as a precaution.
Before your session, remove all make-up, moisturisers, perfume and deodorant. If you have had any recent hair treatments, such as colouring, please leave 24 hours before your tanning session.
After Your Session
Do not shower, swim or exercise within the first six hours of your Spray Tan session.
Do not sit on light coloured leather or fabrics until you’ve showered or taken a bath, as the colour guide can cause discolouration.
Do not tint eyebrows or eyelashes within 12 hours of a treatment.
